While good kid, m.A.A.d city has gotten its share of its praise for Kendrick's perfectionism, The Compton rapper revealed recently that there was one final touch he wished he had added to the record.
"The idea was to have Nas on 'Sing About Me,'” said K-Dot, who recently collaborated with Nasir's former rival, Jay-Z on his "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe" remix.
"I never really got a chance to reach out to him," explained Lamar. "I was so wrapped up in getting the music done, samples cleared and mastered - there was so much going on.
Kendrick emphasized that he didn't want to force the collaboration."I didn’t really wanna rush the process. I actually wanted to sit in the studio and vibe with him. [It was] the only thing that I had a vision for but in due time, God willing, for sure."
