After hearing the new leak from Kanye and King Louie just earlier today, MTV News got a chance to talk with King L about the track "Send It Up", and what it was like recording with Kanye out in Paris.
Sitting down for an interview via Skype, King Louie spoke about recording with Kanye and how his verse was picked for the record "Send It Up". King L stated:
“When I did the joint, we were in the studio, no B.S., like 20 hours strong, a day. We were in Paris or whatever. “I had woke up, and it was just a freestyle verse off the top and that turned out to be the one he was really rocking with; just genuine bars.”
King L also went on to say that after laying down his verse, the beat had changed and that it was way different than when he went in to record. He added that some of his verse became part of the chorus. Sounds like Kanye's critiqing was in full effect for Yeezus.
Check out the interview below. Yeezus rises Tuesday, the 18th. [Via]
