Diddy recently announced that he would be appearing in the British period drama “Downton Abbey,” and then revealed it was false all along. Then some real life drama unfolded as the Bad Boy mogul’s Maybach was approached by police officers and guns were drawn, which like the "Downtown Abbey" hoax, proved to be for nothing.
Acting on a call that a suspicious person had a gun on them inside the $500,000 Maybach, police arrived just as Diddy was being dropped off by his bodyguard at SoHo House, an exclusive West Hollywood club.
Luckily for the hip hop legend and entrepreneur, he was already out of the car when police arrived as they pulled their weapons and ordered Diddy’s bodyguard, who was behind the wheel, and a passenger out of the car. Details of the tip are not clear, but it was enough for the authorities to shut the street down. In the end the men were released and not charged because there were no weapons found in the car.
TMZ was able to obtain a photo of the incident which seems bizarrely chaotic for one tip that a person was driving with a gun.
