When you think of Chicago rap, Z Money is one of those figures that stands out as a perpetual hustler. Signed to 1017 Eskimo, the artist is one of the most intriguing of the bunch. Each week, we showcase a new rapper in our Freestyle Sessions and today, Z Money stepped into the booth to deliver a spooky vibe just one day prior to Halloween.
The beat, produced by Dmac, sounds like it would be well-suited for Money's labelmate Lil Wop but the Chicago product does his thing over it. He gets into his zone with an emphatic "nyaaa" before spitting a few bars over the eerie beat.
Last week, we had K Camp in the mix for his Freestyle Session, which you can peep here. How are you feeling Z Money's effort?
Quotable Lyrics:
They really wanna ask for money but they throwing shade
Hit a block and kill his homie, fucked up his day
I thought you was a big dog homie, that's on his page
I was stupid rich before Instagram was made
