Kanye West clears up his controversial comments on TMZ Live.

A few days ago, it was announced that Kanye West would be a guest on TMZ Live. Much like the last time he was there, it was expected to get pretty controversial. It's almost guaranteed that people will tune in just to see if he will make another "slavery sounds like a choice" remark like last time. So far, he's already claimed to be blowing up Colin Kaepernick's phone to plan a meeting at the White House. Keeping Kaep's political stance in mind, we're thinking he probably won't budge. The next clip released to the public shows Ye speaking to TMZ's Harvey Levin about the controversial "13th amendment" comment he made.

If you're unaware, Ye posted a photo of himself in his MAGA hat, writing that he will "abolish the 13th amendment." The 13th amendment was initially put in place to abolish slavery and involuntary servitude and it was no surprise for people to be up in arms about the statement. During his appearance on TMZ Live, he noted that he misspoke when he made the comment. He begins by reading a text message that was sent to him by his friend GLC, before cutting himself off and clarifying, "What I want to say is 'abolish' was the wrong language - I misspoke by saying 'abolish.' 'Amend' is the right language and what's beautiful about our constitution is we can amend it."

Ye is bound to share more of what he means during the full episode of TMZ Live, which airs tonight. In case you missed it earlier, his album Yandhi was pushed back until late November. Take a look at the video below.
