While pre-prison Gucci Mane may have been more of a Gaston type figure, his relationship with Keyshia Ka'Oir ultimately played a pivotal role in shaping the man he has become. A down-ass woman through and through, Ka'Oir held it down amidst Guwop's prison sentence, and kept it real upon his release. Now, the pair have become one of hip-hop's most celebrated power couples, and few can boast the business credentials of the Wopsters. In any case, Gucci has been quite the romantic of late, taking to Instagram to flaunt the love of his life.
Today, Gucci has shared a candid picture of himself and Keyshia, likening themselves to an iconic Disney couple. "Beauty and the Beast," he writes, no doubt proudly taking the "beast" mantle for himself. To be fair, "Beauty and The Beast" originally stemmed from a 1740's French novel by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve, titled "La Belle et la Běte." It seems entirely likely that Gucci is indeed referring to the iconic Disney classic, which made history as the first animated film to land a Best Picture Oscar nomination.
Shout out to the Wopsters. Keep spreading that positivity.
