Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter V" is set to debut at number one.

Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III and IV did major first week numbers. The latter sold over a million in its first week, which at the time was incredibly rare for a hip-hop album. Tha Carter IV did a little under 1M in its first week, which is still incredibly impressive. Although the way sales are calculated these days are much different, Lil Wayne is still set to make a historical debut with his latest project, Tha Carter V.

As Kanye predicted, Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V is expected to hold down the top spot on the Billboard 200, but it looks like the album will have one of the biggest streaming weeks, ever. According to BillboardTha Carter V is expected to garner over 400M on-demand audio streams on the album's song in its first week. This means Wayne will sit behind Drake's Scorpion and Post Malone Beerbongs & Bentleys for having the third biggest streaming week for an album in history.

If Weezy locks in that top spot with Tha Carter V, it'll mark his fourth official #1 album on the Billboard 200. The rapper landed his first #1 album with Tha Carter III. Following that, Tha Carter IV and I Am Not A Human Being topped the chart. The last Wayne album to chart on the Billboard 200 was I Am Not A Human Being II in 2013 which debuted at #2.
