It's going to be an active Autumn. Action Bronson ushered in the month of November with his new album, White Bronco. Tucked away at the end of the album is "Ring Ring," a funky hip-hop jazz fusion that allows Bronson to show off his lyrical skill. White Bronco is filled with minimal features, and even Big Body Bes' appearance on "Ring Ring" is fleeting. The one bar chorus is more of an exclamation than a hook, but it sinks none the less as the most catchy part of the song.
Produced by Harry Fraud, "Ring Ring" features a harsh horn that sounds like it's being played live in a theater. The leisurely tempo allows Bronson to say more in less time, and his wordplay is on full display as he eases over the jazz sample.
Quotable Lyrics
To all the women that I hurt in the past, I didn't mean it
Now that we clear, come here, put your mouth right here
I'm rare like a white deer with spiked hair
New Nike Airs, smoke big cigars in a nice chair
