According to YMCMB president Mack Maine, Nicki Minaj and Future recently collaborated in the studio. He revealed the information during an interview with RapFix Live yesterday, after relating the personal story behind his track "Celebrate". It's been assumed that the collaborative track will be included on Future's upcoming Future Hendrix album.
"I heard she [Nicki] has a song coming out with Future," Mack said. "It's Future's song, and she's featured on it... she's on our songs, so she's back on the music grind again. Nicki's doing everything we can ask and more. She's perfect."
There was no end to Mack's praise for the YMCMB camp in general, especially its queen:
"As far as Nicki, the sky's not the limit for her, she's going to Pluto or wherever she wants to go," he boasted. "She might find another galaxy or whatever she wants to do. Nicki's a brand now, Nicki's not just an artist. And it's hard for artists to become a brand, so whatever she wants to do, from the makeup, to the clothing line or 'American Idol'... and she's still making great music."
Is this good news? Who's looking forward to Future Hendrix?
