Schroder unfollows Hawks after talking about joining Pacers or Bucks.

Atlanta Hawks point guard Dennis Schroder recently told reporters at a press conference for the German Basketball Federation that he envisions playing for a team like the Milwaukee Bucks or Indiana Pacers. The problem with that is, Schroder is still under contract with the Hawks for $46.5 million over the next three years, so unless a trade is in the works he'll be spending the next few seasons in Atlanta.

According to David Hein, Schroder also told reporters that he "cannot be second to last in the Eastern Conference" again and that he and his agent planned to talk with Atlanta's general manager and owner today about the organization's plans for the future.

Schroder, 24, added more speculation about his uncertain future with the Hawks today when he reportedly unfollowed the team on instagram and then deleted every Hawks-related post on his account. That's not to say a move is imminent, we've recently seen Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones scrub his IG account with no motive, but Schroder certainly chose an interesting time to do so.

Last season, the Hawks finished with a 24-58 record which resulted in the firing of head coach Mike Budenholzer, who, ironically, is among the top candidates to take over as head coach of the Bucks.

In 67 games, the German native averaged a career-best 19.4 points per game, in addition to 6.2 assists and 3.1 rebounds.
