"I'm loving it, the guys here are great. It's a real home environment"

Josh Gordon made his debut with the New England Patriots on Sunday, as the Pats dominated the previously unbeaten Miami Dolphins by the final of 38-7. After the game, in which Gordon finished with two catches for 32 yards, the star wide receiver spoke about his time in New England thus far and how he plans to take full advantage of the situation.

"I have no doubt I can take advantage of this opportunity," Gordon said, according to ESPN.

"I'm more than blessed and extremely grateful to be put in this scenario, and the only thing right for me to do is take full advantage of it. I'm loving it, the guys here are great. It's a real home environment and I feel as comfortable as ever here."

Of his new quarterback Tom Brady, whose locker is directly next to his, the 27-year old receiver says, "He's been rooting for me and it's been awesome to have his support and his love, as well as the rest of the teammates and staff here. Tom's a passionate guy and I love that, and I love the game of football. I think we're going to mesh just fine."

According to ESPN, Gordon was only on the field for 18 snaps yesterday as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury. In addition to Gordon, Julian Edelman will also be joining the New England receiving corps in Week 5 following his four-game suspension.

The Patriots, 2-2, will return to action this Thursday, October 4 with a home game against the 1-3 Indianapolis Colts.
