California rapper KYLE, fresh off a recent performance at the Coachella music festival, has just announced his debut album, Light of Mine, which will release May 18.
The album is being headed up by two singles you may have heard already, "To The Moon" and "Playinwitme," which features Kehlani as well. No word on a track list yet, but these two singles are a strong start already to KYLE's debut. KYLE has also posted the album artwork on his Instagram, featuring himself, shrouded in purple and blue light in front of a blurry background.
You'll also be able to catch KYLE in a city near you, as he's joined Logic's "Bobby Tarantino vs. Everybody" tour, presumably was one of the "everybody." The massive tour will be visiting 33 different cities, so if you're lucky you might hear KYLE perform his new album in person.
KYLE is probably best known for his massive hit song "iSpy," featuring Lil Yachty, but he's so much more than that as well. In addition to being a multi-platinum rapper, he's also an actor. KYLE is reported to be staring in the Netflix film The After Party, which will also feature appearances from other hip-hop greats such as French Montana, Wiz Khalifa, and Teyana Taylor.
Congrats to KYLE on the announcement of the new album. What have you guys thought about the singles thus far, and are you excited for KYLE's debut album? Either way, you can check out the cover for Light of Mine down below.
