Yesterday, host of The Breakfast Club Charlamagne Tha God was spotted leaving a Calabasas office with none other than Kanye West. Speculation has been at an all-time high in terms of the possibility of a new Kanye album this year after he was seen with most of his crew in Wyoming. The top-secret operations have proven to be amazing as a marketing strategy as publications and fans alike are left with enough information that it seems something is brewing, but not enough to definitively say an album is releasing. The next stage of Kanye's potential album rollout occurred when TMZ caught up with Ye and Charlamagne last night.
Keeping things coy, Pablo simply told the photographer that the radio host had heard some music. Now, Charlamagne is not only confirming the specifics of his meeting in Calabasas, he's also revealing some additional interesting information. DJ Envy egged on his co-host to divulge some details when Charlamagne confirmed, "I heard some joints, I definitely did. I heard some records. Not necessarily his music though." Sticking to the mysterious script, the radio personality also revealed that, while he met with Kanye at his California offices, he may have taken on a new job with the superstar. Amid their conversation about their lives, Kanye seems to have offered Charlamagne an alternate career path. "I will say this... I'll give y'all this much. He did hire me as his ghost-tweeter," joked the radio host, neglecting to offer any legitimate hints at what was said during the meeting.
Somewhere along the way, Charlamagne hinted that the talk may have been recorded, saying, "You may or may not hear the conversation." While he is not confirming anything with this statement, the mere mention of it hints that we will have an ear to the wall at one point in the future.
