Tyga has always repped Los Angeles. Born in Compton and living in Calabasas, T-Raw is all about the California lifestyle. With this in mind, it's no surprise that he's as ecstatic as most Lakers fans about the team's acquisition of LeBron James. While L.A. sports fans tend to always assume big stars are coming to their teams since, in the past they've mostly been right, rumors about the Lakers have been a little off for the last few years. Fans of the team were sure that the most important free agents were headed to Hollywood a few years ago but they ended up nabbing Timofey Mozgov and Luol Deng instead. With Mozgov long gone and Deng racking up DNP-CD's, LeBron is set to change the culture at the Staples Center and Tyga is clearly excited.
Receiving a personal gift from Jesse Buss, co-owner and assistant general manager of the team, Tyga flaunted the first ever official jersey representing LeBron James as a Laker. With the NBA Shop selling out of #23 jerseys in the purple and gold (mine is on the way!) fans all over are excited to see what Bron can accomplish as the newest cornerstone of the team. Taking a photo aboard a private jet, the "Taste" singer showed off the "City Edition" Mamba jersey with LeBron's name on the back, making sure to brag about it to his Instagram followers.
If you thought Lakers games attracted enough celebrities beforehand, this upcoming season is bound to bring countless stars to their courtside seats. We're looking forward to Jack Nicholson sightings and Rihanna swooning over Bron everytime he runs by her.
