We're happy to see that Brent Faiyaz has returned to the fray with his brand new EP. His Sonder Son project was released one year ago and almost to the date, Faiyaz has followed it up with Lost. Whenever he drops, we expect a lot considering he's proven to be quite capable of making a statement in his music. Much of his mark is left near the beginning of the EP but one of the best songs happens at the end with "Poundz."
The song is separated in several parts as the beat switches up midway to introduce some new topics to the table. Part 1 of "Poundz" is extremely catchy with everything mellowing out near the 2-minute mark. The Baltimore artist has been underrated for a long time and hopefully, Lost brings him some of the recognition he deserves.
