Al Pacino finally links up with Quentin Tarantino.

If we're talking about Hollywood references in rap music, the number one most referenced movie in the entire rap game is undoubtedly Scarface, starring Al Pacino as the infamous Tony Montana. Now, according to Page Six, Pacino is teaming up with one of Hollywood's most extreme and stylistic directors, Quentin Tarantino, on his next, and potentially final film, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

The film will recount a semi-truthful telling of the story of Charles Manson, the brutal Manson Family cult leader who orchestrated the murders of seven individuals, including Hollywood actress Sharon Tate.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt will star as Rick Dalton, the former star of a Western series, and Cliff Booth, his stunt double, respectively. Pacino will be acting as DiCaprio's agent in the film. As the two of them attempt to navigate their way through a changing Hollywood, and live next door to Tate before the Manson murders were committed.

The film also stars Margot Robbie, Damian Lewis, Luke Perry, Emile Hersch, Dakota Fanning, Burt Reynolds, and Timothy Olyphant.

This film will mark the first ever collaboration between Pacino and Tarantino, and it's long overdue. Given the latter's penchant for violence in his films, and the former's natural ability to portray violent psychopaths, it's a shame that the first time these two will collaborate will be Tarantino's potential final film.

One Upon A Time In Hollywood is set for a premiere on August 9th, 2019, so unfortunately we still have a long way to wait until we get to see what these two will come up with.
