Rockstar Games is currently gearing up to release the most ambitious open world game they have ever conceived. Red Dead Redemption 2 will be a much bigger and more intricate game than any Grand Theft Auto, and will surely eclipse the first entry into the series. The plot is based in 1899, which Rockstar Games is billing as the beginning of the end of the Wild West Era. Authorities are rounding up the last of the outlaws and technology is beginning to take shape in American culture. The plot for Red Dead Redemption 2 is as follows:
"After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee. With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive. As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him."
Rockstar Games recently dropped the second look at gameplay from the title, and fans won't be disappointed. The graphics look gorgeous, the gameplay mechanics are smooth, and the seamless storytelling will surely influence games for generations to come.
