Major Lazer recently announced that their next album will be their last but before that day arrives they still have some collaborative tracks to drop off. The latest single courtesy of the group features Swedish singer Tove Lo on the new beat "Blow That Smoke." The single sounds like a Major Lazer usual with a dash of tropical/reggaeton vibes with Tove singing "I got the keys to heaven now/ Babes all around and they got my mind spinning."
Zane Lowe premiered the track that gave Tove a chance to explain how the song came to be. "Well, we'd had a few sessions and tried to find more days together, but we're never in the same place long enough to actually make it work," she said, via Complex. "Eventually I just sent Diplo the vocals and, 'Here's something. It's a song I don't really know what to do with. What do you think?' He's like, 'Oh, this is awesome. I'll work on this.'"
Quotable Lyrics
Blow that smoke and let me love that fire
I don't need no memories
Bed is broken now I'm floating higher
This madness so good for me
