It was only matter of time before neighborhood friendly Tekashi 6ix9ine dropped in on his fellow New Yorkers, the Breakfast Club. Tekashi doesn't think he's bringing it all upon himself, the smoke, the negative attention from law enforcement, the whole enchilada.
Charlamagne wasn't letting 6ix9ine claim supremacy in New York City without a proper fight. Charlamagne propped up Cardi B, Tekashi rebutted, citing his independence and lack of industry help as a reason for his superiority. They agreed to disagreed, that's generally how it goes in the square circle.
6ix9ine offered a proper explanation for his misunderstanding with J Prince at SXSW, shedding a light on a part of the story we have yet to hear from either party. The New York rapper claims that he and J Prince ran into one another in a sneaker store a day before the incident, with the Houston native showing no sign of confrontation. Make of it what you will.
He also took a moment to address his 2015 guilty plea to sex crimes, which came to light after Trippie Redd accused him of Pedophilia. Tekashi maintained he isn't a registered sex offender and explained the situation by drawing attention to a testament of youth, at the time of the incident.
"Three years ago, I had an underage girl in the video, shit happens-- girls lie about their age. A lot of people get caught up in this."
