Attorney General Jeff Sessions is seen at the California Peace Officers' Association 26th Annual Law Enforcement Legislative Day on March 7, 2018 in Sacramento, California. The attorney general is expected to reveal a major sanctuary jurisdiction announcement as the Justice Department sued California over its sanctuary policies.
Reports say the the fate of both Lil Wayne and Wu-Tang's forfeited albums are in Jeff Sessions hands.

Earlier in the month, some pretty excellent news came about when Martin Shkreli was ordered to forfeit both his $2M Wu-Tang Clan album as well as Lil Wayne's long-awaited Tha Carter V. However, the problem with that is both albums end up in the hands of the U.S. government who usually auction off forfeited items. The U.S. government has officially filed to have both albums forfeited but there's a problem. According to reports, Jeff Sessions may hold the fate of both Wayne and Wu-Tang's albums.

As part of the judge's ruling, Martin Shkreli was ordered to hand over $7.36M as well as a few assets that'll help pay off his judgement. Included are both Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V and Wu-Tang Clan's Once Upon A Time In Shaolin. Forbes reports that the United States Department of Justice has officially filed for both albums to be forfeited and it's likely that their fates lie in Jeff Sessions power.

According to documents they've obtained, it says that "the United States hereby gives notice of its intent to dispose of the forfeited property in such manner as the United States Attorney General may direct."

Along with both albums, Shkreli was also asked to forfeit along with $5 million in a brokerage account, a stake in Vyera Pharmaceuticals and a Picasso painting.

We'll keep you updated on more news pertaining to the matter.
