The video for "Death Row" with a message of support to 03 Greedo, who appears on the tail end of the track, and is facing up to twenty years imprisonment in a Texas jailhouse. The album cut from Freddie's eponymous release this year is ready for a second round of consumption. The "Death Row" was evidently shot before 03 Greedo submitted to law enforcement.
In the "Death Row" video Freddie rummages through his missed calls while at the wheel. Upon stopping in a desolate area marked for the video shoot, 03 Greedo shows face in his widely reported "indignant manner." Freddie shimmying next to him in a throwback Shawn Kemp jersey much like the one Kevin Durant wore during his Seattle homecoming, nods approvingly as Greedo performs his interpolation of Eazy-E's "Boyz-N-Da-Hood."
Freddie Gibbs' long-awaited project with Curren$y is being finalized, due on October 31st. Shortly thereafter Freddie will embark on the Freddie tour in support of his earlier release. The tour kicks off in Chicago and comes to a close on December 15th in Seattle.
