The first week sales projections for Kanye West and Kid Cudi's Kids See Ghosts are in. Hits Daily Double reports that the 7-track album is expected to move between 100,00 and 110,000 in album equivalent units, with 55,000 to 60,000 of that figure being made up of traditional sales. It is not expected to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, as Dave Matthews Band's Come Tomorrow will likely be awarded that honor, with projected sales of 230,000 to 260,000.
Kanye's 8th studio album, ye, released last Friday, is expected to top the charts this week with over 200,000 album equivalent units. The official sales numbers will be announced via Billboard on Sunday.
Kids See Ghosts is the third of 5 planned releases from Kanye West's camp. Each of the albums is 7 tracks in length and produced entirely by West himself. They have been released a week at a time beginning with Pusha T's Daytona, which debuted at No. 3 on last week's chart. The remaining releases come from Nas and Teyana Taylor. The names of those projects have yet to be announced.
Kanye and Cudi's album is available to stream across all major services. The official sales numbers for the project will be revealed next Sunday.
