Earlier this year at the "Future Of Flight" event in Los Angeles, Jordan Brand previewed a plethora of upcoming sneaker silhouettes and colorways, including an Air Jordan 3 Flyknit, which was supposed to release in March. The kicks never dropped, but now it is being reported they'll be available for the first time ever on August 18.
The Flyknit 3s, retailing for $190, will make their debut in an all-black colorway, featuring the beloved yarn-like Flyknit material throughout the iconic silhouette. The shoes also come complete with a leather inner lining, waxed laces, and a glow in the dark sole.
While this is the first Flyknit Air Jordan 3 release it's not the first time that Jordan Brand has experimented with this material on a pair of classics. Last year saw multiple Air Jordan 1 Flyknits, including "Bred," "Royal," and "Shadow" colorways. As such, we expected multiple colorways of the Flyknit Air Jordan 3, but as of now it appears this black joint is the only one headed to retailers this summer.
