Fans are eagerly awaiting more music from Lil Uzi Vert, especially after the past few weeks. The Philly rapper dropped off two stand out guest appearances on Travis Scott's "Watch" with Kanye West and "Shoota" alongside Playboi Carti. Despite this, we haven't received a whole lot of music from Lil Uzi Vert since he released Luv Is Rage 2. Last week, the rapper teased a new song with Young Thug and got fans incredibly excited. However, they seem to have way more songs in the cut than that one.
Lil Uzi Vert was recently stopped while shopping on Melrose Avenue by HollywoodFix who asked the rapper about the previously teased song with Young Thug. Uzi admitted that the song didn't have a name yet but he also revealed that the two of them have way more songs sitting in the vault than anyone knows.
"You know me and Young Thug, we have like 1500 songs together." He said. "I'll make it come out probably soon. Sometime this year."
This is the second update we've received about new music from Lil Uzi Vert. Don Cannon recently revealed that Uzi's expected to drop a new album sometime this year.
In addition to speaking on his collabs with Young Thug, he also spoke briefly about his feud with Rich The Kid. While RTK's been bucking shots at the "Money Longer" rapper, it seems as if Lil Uzi Vert has no hard feelings towards him. Uzi finally issued a statement about Rich The Kid and said, "blessings to Rich The Kid and his whole family and stuff."
