According to the man himself, LeBron James played through a broken hand he inflicted upon himself out of frustration. The accident occurred after Cleveland's Game One loss. Sources tell ESPN, LeBron went about punching a whiteboard in the locker room, seemingly over an overturned foul on Kevin Durant, which ended up influencing the final outcome of the match. The rest is history.

"I let the emotions get the best of me and pretty much played the last three games with a broken hand," James said in postgame press conference Yesterday. LeBron underwent two MRIs over the course of the series, and wore a soft cast when he wasn't practicing or close to any members of the media, in order to keep his injury out of sight from the competition. All because he punched a whiteboard none the less.

LeBron also repeatedly iced the swelling on his hand after games, and used a tennis ball to sharpen his grip, a big proponent of his "power game." James eventually showed off his brace to the media amassed to hear him talk about his future in Cleveland, a question he artfully dodged. He did acquit himself quite well in the series, even in losing fashion, closing out the series with averages of 34 points on 52.7 percent shooting, 10 assists and 8.5 rebounds.
