It's the longest reign for an album since the rapper's 2016 studio album "Views."

Drake's Scorpion has topped the charts for a fifth consecutive week. The rapper's new double album has maintained its position at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 145,000 equivalent album units, according to Billboard. This is the longest consecutive run for an album at No. 1 since Drake's own Views held the spot for nine weeks from May to July 2016. Prior to that, Adele's 25 held the top spot for seven weeks between Dec. 12, 2015 and Jan. 23, 2016. Scorpion has earned the most total weeks at No. 1 in a year-and-a-half, following The Weeknd's Starboy, which spent five nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 on 2007.

At No. 2 is Kenny Chesney's newly debuting Songs for the Saints, which moves 77,000 units. From there, there's a high presence of rap releases. Post Malone’s beerbongs & bentleys drops from No. 2 to No. 3 with 62,000 units. Juice WRLD’s Goodbye & Good Riddance jumps from No. 6 to No. 4 with 39,000 units, Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy sticks at No. 5 with just over 38,000 units and the late XXXTentacion’s ? slips to No. 6 with 38,000 units.

Drake has also experienced a run on the Hot 100, with "In My Feelings" ruling the chart for the last three weeks. With the release of the video last week, it is unlikely that the single will give up the top spot in the upcoming cycle. Stay tuned for the Hot 100 report shortly.
