Guerilla Union's Chang Weisberg also spoke of the use of Eazy-E and ODB's holograms. Revealing that the families of the late rappers were very involved in the process and Young Dirty Bastard will actually be involved in the performance.
"Not only are the families on board with the virtual performances, they are actually participating with the creation of them." he explained. "This ensures the authenticity and integrity of the performances. It’s a monumental moment for music and technology that Eazy’s and ODB’s children have lent their DNA to these historic performances. Their bodies, faces, and voices have been captured to help recreate their fathers’ avatars. The process has been extremely rewarding to say the least."
Rock The Bells kicks off September 7th in California.
