Chappelle's Show and The Daily Show were the two most important series on Comedy Central (other than South Park, of course) for an entire generation. Although Chappelle only delivered two seasons of his show, compared to the 16 years Jon Stewart hosted his late night show, it became a timeless reminder of how quality over quantity can work at its best. Both comedians had an ingenious talent for tackling politics and social interactions that were both honest and funny. Now the two legendary comedians have announced a joint stand up comedy tour.
According to Rolling Stone, the tour will have seven dates in June. The limited dates are only available in three cities. Boston's Wang Theatre, Houston's Smart Financial Centre, and El Paso, Texas' Chavez Theatre. The only place to purchase tickets is through Ticketmaster's Verified Fan platform. The service weeds out bots allowing a fairer purchasing experience. Ticket registration is currently open and concludes on Wednesday, May 16th at 10 p.m. ET. Ticket sales begin on Friday, May 18th at 10 a.m. local time.
