Halsey has surprisingly been one of the stars thrown around in, arguably, the hottest rap beef of 2018. Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly went back and forth, with G-Eazy managing to get trapped in the middle of it all. Because of his involvement, his girlfriend Halsey also became a factor with MGK claiming to have been intimate with her in one of his tracks. The pop singer has responded to the claims, calling Kelly "absolutely pathetic." Hopefully, her new single will keep the focus on her music for the foreseeable future.
The artist is back today with the premiere of her new single, "Without Me." The song premiered on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 Radio show as the "World Record" of the day. We see her getting incredibly personal, pouring her heart out on the song. Obviously, the lyrics are directed toward someone in particular as she sings, "Tell me how's it feel sittin' up there/ Feeling so high but too far away to hold me/ You know I'm the one who put you up there." People will possibly speculate that the song is about G-Eazy as they briefly broke up earlier this year.

Quotable Lyrics:
I said I'd catch you if you fall
And if they laugh, then fuck 'em all
And then I got you off your knees
Put you right back on your feet
Just so you could take advantage on me
