Near the end of June, Lil Snupe, a rising rapper from New Orleans, was tragically shot dead. The suspect in Snupe's murder turned himself in a few days later, but now cops have arrested a second suspect in the murder of the Dreamchaser artist.
Shreveport Times reports that the second suspect, arrested on July 3rd, is Edrick O. Stewart, 21-years old. The Monroe native was booked into the Winnfield City Jail on one count of manslaughter, according to Winnfield Police Lt. Charles Curry.
The first suspect, Tony D. Holden, was booked into Winnfield City Jail on one count each of first-degree murder, armed robbery and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. His bond has been set at $2 million.
No bond has been set for Stewart at this time.
Snupe was laid to rest in his hometown on June 29th.
