Tekken is one of the most legendary fighting game franchises of all time. Alongside Street Fighter, Soul Calibur, and Mortal Kombat, Tekken has remained relevant since the first title in the series was launch in 1994. It was a PlayStation exclusive for years before it made the jump to other consoles. The arcade-style fighting game is now available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
According to Gamespot, The Walking Dead's Negan is heading to Tekken 7 as a playable character. His barbed-wire wrapped baseball bat Lucille will accompany him in the game, making Negan one of the title's deadliest foes. Returning characters Anna Williams and Lei Wulong will also be added to the game in their Season 2 update. Anna Williams has been a part of the franchise since the first Tekken, and she’s the personal bodyguard of Kazuya Mishima and the sister of Nina Williams. Lei Wulong first appeared in Tekken 2, and he will return with his animal-based fighting styles to stir things up.
Although Negan may be a cool villain, The Walking Dead has been suffering from decreasing ratings in the last two seasons. Now the Rick Grimes actor Andrew Lincoln is leaving the show as well, AMC will need to find a new way to get fans pumped for the zombie series.
