Trina,"Da Baddest Bitch" never left the coattails of her quietly kept Miami entourage, even as her star began to rise Nationally, even Globally. On the surface, Trina embodies a traditionally feminine yet brash style, differentiated by a strong regional inflection, separating her from other "femme" rappers, and thus guarding her against the male-dominant "bystander effect" predicated by rap.
Her latest single "No Lie" is but another step in a self-managed career, spanning five albums with lapses in between, beginning on her impressive debut which her bore the nickname, Da Baddest Bitch, a title she carries with her to this day, no matter the weather or (album) delay.
The One, the sixth album in succession, will unearth the first Trina record since the Spring of '18, when she dropped "Mama," her dedication to prideful Momma types the World over.
On the album's lead single, "No Lie," we find her resettling the accord. Back in the early 2000s, no one dared question her "unsentimental" pattern, and to her credit that doesn't seem to have changed. Trina is no longer the biotic force she once was. But on the flip side, her vocal performance on "No Lie" is spirited enough to make up for at least some of those inconveniences. Are you excited for her next album?

Stashed burner on deck where the coupe is
I ain't hot to find you hoes, come and meet me
