Lil Baby and Gunna are getting ready to drop their joint project Drip Harder. According to a new post from Baby, the project is now complete and will be released "this month."
Both quickly-rising Atlanta artists with ties to Young Thug and strong solo efforts in 2018, the two rappers have earned comparisons to one another. In May, Baby told fans and critics to stop weighing Gunna and himself against each other, simultaneously announcing the project.
The upcoming tape will not be the first time the two rappers have worked together. They've previously collaborated on songs including "Oh Okay" and "Sold Out Dates." They recently showed up on Young Thug's Slime Language standout "Chanel."
Last we heard Drip Harder was scheduled to arrive in July. However, the month came and went with no sign of it.
In an interview with HNHH, Baby spoke of working with Gunna and Young Thug. "We all in the same vibe,' he said. "All the songs I recorded with Gunna and Thug, even the songs they got with me, we all recorded them at the same place, same night, same vibe."
Earlier this year, Lil Baby earned his first top ten single on the Hot 100 with "Yes Indeed" featuring Drake.
