Logic recently worked with Wiz Khalifa on weed anthem "Indica Badu," and it seems his collaborators business sense has rubbed off on him. Wiz, of course, has his own strain with KK or Khalifa Kush. According to Logic, he's thinking about getting into the industry himself. "Actually, you know, I was thinking of creating my own," he told the Cruz show prior to his performance at Powerhouse L.A., as pointed out by HipHopNMore. Saturday night. However, he hasn't put anything into motion, and is definitely not ready to talk about names -- though it seems he might have a couple in mind. "I don't wanna say yet," he said when asked what the strain would be called. "Let's not even talk about it 'cause I'm too excited."
Whether or not he actually pursues a side hustle in legal weed, Logic's priority is still in music. When asked about an upcoming collaboration with Royce Da 5'9" following his feature on Book Of Ryan, the rapper was coy, but didn't deny its existence. "Oh you talking about him on my stuff?" he said with a smirk. "Yeah, you don't know. We ain't gotta talk about it."
A collaboration he's a little more up front about is a track he recently recorded with YG. He described the song as a "banger" on Instagram last week, and continued to sing its praises during the interview. "The joint with YG is stupid," he said. "You don't even wanna know about that. It's bananas." It seems likely the song could land on YG's forthcoming third studio album Stay Dangerous, but it is yet to be confirmed. Watch the full conversation above.
