Lil Uzi Vert continues to preview new music on Instagram in advance of his upcoming album. The rapper played a track which may or may not be titled "Numb" on his live stream Saturday, letting his fans hear the song front to back as he danced, smoked, and rapped along.
"Pour me numb, tell her pour me numb/What's a choppa if it ain't got a drum," he sings soulfully on the hook of the track.
It's unclear when Uzi's new project will arrive. In July, he shared artwork inspired by the Heaven's Gate Cult for a project titled Eternal Atake. Since then we have received no updates on the album, though Uzi continues to share snippets of new music. The rapper's last full-length project came in 2017 with LUV Is Rage 2.
Earlier this weekend Uzi showed up to his show with G-Eazy in a helicopter, which is only the second-most ridiculous headline involving the rapper over the last week. At his show in Hartford, a fan threw a bible on stage as the rapper performed "XO Tour Llif3." Uzi, who has flirted with satanic concepts in his music and persona, including telling the fans at his Wireless festival that they're coming to hell with him, was very entertained by the bible toss, grinning and flipping through the book as he continued to perform.
