Is the Migos rapper hinting at a follow-up to QC compilation "Control The Streets?"

Migos have a big summer ahead of them. The trio have announced that they'll be hitting the road with Drake beginning in July, but that may not be the only thing they've got planned. Quavo has raised speculation regarding a new compilation from Quality Control Music, the trio's label which also holds Lil Yachty, Lil Baby, Johnny Cinco, and more. Control The Streets, the first official compilation from the label was released in 2017, and a new tweet from Quavo hints at what could be the title to the follow-up. "Control The Summer," he wrote on Twitter. "July" (edited from all caps, all spaces Migos-speak for clarity).

Quavo tagged DJ Durel, the trio's DJ who has been contributing more production for the group on recent releases, as well as QC the label. It's possible that the rapper is simply expressing his excitement for the upcoming tour, which does happen to start in July. But from the looks of his mentions, Quavos fans are already preparing to have new music from Migos this summer.

For any other act, it would be ridiculous to expect another project under a year after the 24-track Culture II. However, Migos have always been known to drop monstrous projects at an impressive rate. The last QC project was 30 tracks and came only a month prior to Culture II. That's after the trio dropped Culture earlier in 2017. Maybe fans are right to assume Migos have new music on the way, after all. We'll find out in July.
