After Offset dropped $500K on a massive 8 carat diamond engagement ring and popped the question to her on stage, they became the "it" couple in entertainment. They've had their fair share of ups and downs over the past few months due to allegations of infidelity but regardless, they seem to be going strong both as a couple and career wise. While everybody's been waiting for them to announce a date for their wedding, it doesn't look like they'll be tying the knot this year.
During the red carpet at the Grammys, E! spoke to Cardi B about her and Offset's wedding plans. While she wanted to lock down a date for the fall, it looks like the wedding will have to wait. She explained that their careers are far too busy to really solidify time for a wedding.
"I keep getting, 'Do you want to do tour around this time?' 'Hey do you want to do this around this time?' And it's just like—I'm touring, I'm putting out an album. He's touring, putting out an album." She said.
With Migos dropping Culture II and Cardi B readying her debut album, they got a lot going on for them and Cardi wants to make sure their wedding is special.
"It's not only about the wedding date. It's not just one day," she said, "It's gotta be a whole almost two weeks type of thing. We want a honeymoon. Do we even have time for that?"
She continued to say that at this point in their lives, they're both extremely career oriented so locking down a fall date doesn't seem likely considering everything that's on their plate.
