Brown becomes youngest Celtics player to score 30+ in a playoff game.

Boston Celtics swingman Jaylen Brown made franchise history last night against the Milwaukee Bucks, becoming the youngest player to score 30 points or more in a playoff game.

At age 21 years, 175 days, Brown's 30-point performance snapped a record previously held for six decades by Celtics legend Tommy Heinsohn, who had scored 30 points at age 22 years, 209 days back in 1957.

"I put a lot of time in this summer and over the course of the year just improving, offensively," Brown said, according to ESPN. "Just coming into the draft, that was one of the biggest things people nitpicked me on, so that was one of the things I wanted to get better at. But I think the trust issue starts with Brad. When Brad tells you to shoot it, it gives you another level of confidence when your coach is like, 'Shoot it!' So when Brad tells me to shoot, I feel much better about it."

According to ESPN, Brown set a new career high with 12 field goals last night, as he connected on 12-of-22 from the field, including five 3-pointers. Brown's 30 points led the way for Boston and he finished tied with Bucks' All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo for the game-high.

The Celtics' 120-106 victory puts them up 2-0 as the series now shifts to Milwaukee for Games 3 & 4. Game 3, which will air on ESPN, is scheduled to tip-off at 9:00pm ET on Friday night. Game 4 is set for Sunday at 1:00pm ET, and will air on ABC.
