Listen to Lil Wayne & Travis Scott's new collab "Let It Fly."

Some people thought the day would never come, but after years of setbacks & legal disputes with Cash Money, Lil Wayne’s Carter V album was finally released yesterday in celebration of his 36th birthday. The album, which features Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott, Snoop Dogg, XXXTentacion & more, has already received rave reviews & is being considered one of the best albums to come out this year. While tracks like “Mona Lisa” with Kendrick Lamar & “Don’t Cry” with XXXTentacion have been attracting the headlines early, another record that’s hella dope and shouldn’t be slept on is the collab with Travis Scott called “Let It Fly.”

The song was first teased way back in 2014 by Travis, who said the song was “something crazy.” “Me and Wayne did something crazy for C5 on my momma ima cry if that album don’t come out,” Travis tweeted out, and thankfully it did come out.

Produced by DRTWRK & Sevn Thomas, take a listen to the lyrical & auto-tune laced collab and let us know what you think. Carter V out now on iTunes.

Quotable Lyrics:

It's alive, it's alive, I'm revived, it's C5
Been arrived, kiss the sky, did the time
Please advise it is advise or be advised, and we advise
You not fuck with me and mine
And keep in mind that we don't mind losing our minds
Free your mind, read your mind, read your mind
Body take a week to find, the cops gon' be like "never mind"
What's on your mind, put the pistol to your mind and blow your mind
Control your mind, mindfreak, no sober mind, I'm so behind
