Caps rage with Tiesto in Vegas after winning Stanley Cup.

After 44 years, the Washington Capitals have finally captured their first Stanley Cup. And the party has only just begun.

Following last night's 4-3 victory over the Las Vegas Golden Knights in Sin City, Conn Smythe Award winner Alex Ovechkin and his teammates hit up the Vegas strip with Lord Stanley's Cup in tow. According to TMZ Sports, the Caps, including the coaching staff, management, owners and fans, hit up Hakkasan at the MGM Grand, where Tiesto was playing music into the early hours of Friday morning.

"We're told team management paid the entire bill for all Caps players -- which ended up around $100,000 ... and that covered all of the champagne, beer and liquor the guys poured into the cup."

The Capitals' championship victory is the first by a Washington professional sports team in the NFL, NBA, NHL or MLB since the Redskins won the Super Bowl back in 1992. Needless to say, DC is going to be a madhouse for the next few days - or more like weeks.

In speaking of the upcoming championship parade, Capitals owner Ted Leonsis said, "I think it's going to be much bigger than everyone is expecting."

"To be honest, the next couple of weeks are going to be all about the fans, all about the city, all about the players," said Leonsis, according to ESPN. "The amount of respect that the Stanley Cup has ... there's nothing like it in any other sport. We have a lot of work to do. We'll try to make it very, very family oriented. To make sure it's not just the players, but it's the mothers and fathers and brothers and sisters."
