Joe Tacopina gives further details on the happenings in Meek Mill's case.

Meek Mill's legal case has been one of the most bizarre situations of the last year, with the rapper serving a two-to-four-year sentence for violating his probation by performing a wheelie on his bike. The non-violent offense was enough for Judge Genece Brinkley to throw Meek in the slammer for up to four years to the shock of many around the world. While it has been mind-boggling that the rapper has not yet been released from prison given the outstanding evidence supporting his case, he remains locked up indefinitely for the time being.

One of the most vocal members of Meek's legal team has been Joe Tacopina throughout the affair, offering updates on several occasions. Speaking with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God on The Breakfast Club, the attorney gave his opinion on Judge Brinkley's personal vendetta against Meek Mill. The "Dreams and Nightmares" artist was allegedly approached by Brinkley during an "off-the-record" meeting where the judge asked him and Nicki Minaj to remake a Boyz II Men song and include a shoutout to her. When Meek refused, things began to go downhill in his case, leading many to believe the judge is unfit to continue working on the case.

It was rumored that Meek would be released early this week, which proved to be untrue. According to Tacopina, the legal proceedings have been the most bizarre he has ever seen in his 25-year career. Although the District Attorney agreed that Meek's case should be overturned, the judge still would not have any of what the defense team had to say. The attorney speaks further on the unfair treatment of his client in the video below.
