A Boogie wit da Hoodie is geared up to have an insane week, dropping one song each day and teasing more for the future. With "Right Moves" and "One Nighter," A Boogie is proving himself to be one of the better artists to come out of New York in a minute. The rapper surprised many with his debut album The Bigger Artist garnering rave reviews, establishing a musical future for A Boogie. His break-out single was arguably "Drowning," featuring Kodak Black, which received an impressive amount of airplay at many NY radio stations during the summer.
Much like his Audiomack performance of "Say A," A Boogie recruited a 9-piece orchestra to perform an awesome version of "Drowning." The music sharing service fused the talented flow of the New York rapper with a "Trap Symphony" to share an impressively canorous rendition of the song. Although the performance is notably missing guest Kodak Black who is currently serving time in prison, A Boogie carries the song throughout its entirety, with new background melodies being captured by the orchestral backing.
The New Yorker is set to release 3 more songs before the end of the week, and he is also working on several collaborations with East Coast legend 50 Cent. Watch the performance below and let us know your thoughts.
