Yes, Platinum Fire still bumps and we're not turning it off anytime soon.
While Arin Ray's debut album arrived in the spring of this year, the Cincinnati-bred, Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter is continuing to remind us of just why the effort was one of the more underappreciated outputs of the year as he returns with his latest music video for "Old School."
In the simplest of terms: it's a bop, and its a perfect remedy for those summertime withdrawals as we head into the new season.
"Old School" arrives as the fourth visual we get from Arin Ray for his Platinum Fire effort, and per usual, it doesn't disappoint with a motif stocked full of vintage whips, neon arcade games, and a comforting 80s aesthetic.
"I have a lot of sleepers on Platinum Fire," the Interscope signee told Billboard back in March. "There may be songs you do not initially assume, 'Oh, this is a single.' But, I am going to try and use all fourteen records."
It looks like he's still intent on delivering on that promise as the visual supplements have not stopped coming.
You know the drill: catch the full "Old School" up top and revisit Platinum Fire for more.
