After decommitting from Arizona over the weekend, Shareef O'Neal is now heading to UCLA next year.

Shareef O’Neal has found a new home to play basketball next year. On Tuesday night, the son of Shaq hopped on Instagram and announced that he’s going to be playing at UCLA next season.

“HEADING TO UCLA 💛💙 I know my mom is glad I’m staying home LOL,” he captioned the picture of him with his parents.

O'Neal decommitted from Arizona over the weekend, after ESPN reported that FBI wiretaps intercepted phone conversations between Arizona head coach Sean Miller and agent Christian Dawkins, who allegedly discussed a $100,000 payment to bring five-star big man Deandre Ayton to play at Arizona this year.

O’Neal, who’s 6-foot 10” tall & ranked 33 overall in the class of 2018, is known for his long-range shooting and rebounding skills. He has helped lead Santa Monica’s Crossroads into the Southern Section 2AA championship game against Brentwood on Saturday at Azusa Pacific.

Shareef will join five-star center Moses Brown and ESPN 100 prospects Jules Bernard, David Singleton III and Tyger Campbell at UCLA next season, as well as high-potential big man Kenny Nwuba. In fact, the Bruins are the first school in the country to land five ESPN 100 prospects in the 2018 class. However Duke has all the top 3 big dogs, which is first in history as well.
