Aside from the BIG news that Drake's Scorpion album is coming in June, there's another tidbit of information about Drizzy that's just as exciting. It seems as though the Toronto based artist may have his love locked down with an English singer from London named Raye. We first reported on the rumoured couple alert earlier today after sources said Drake and Raye hit it off in a recent studio session. Apparently, they've gone on a number of dates and Drizzy was seen spotted at one of her shows in London town fueling the rumours even more.
Raye and Drake first linked up when she sent him a song via Twitter, telling him she's a major fan and the rest is history. In an attempt to learn more about Raye, the singer who may very well be on his upcoming project, we rounded up five facts about the songstress.

Early Days
The 20-year-old was born in London to a Ghanian & Swiss mother and English father. He birthname is Rachel Keen, but was shortened to Raye for her singer/songwriter nickname. She attended BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology for two years before leaving. Graduates from the school are Adele and Amy Winehouse.
First Music Memories
In a 2017 interview, Raye said that she grew up listening to gospel and church music since her parents would go to church every weekend. Her father was a huge Steve Wonder fan and shelearnedt about Nina Simone at a very young age. "I think that was one of the most important things I could have learnt in terms of being inspired and what being a musician is actually about," she said.
First Release
Raye's first musical release was her seven-track EP Welcome to the Winter in 2014 that documents the trials and tribulations of a young adult. She wrote, recorded, and co-produced the entire project in 18 months.
Songwriter
Aside from her smooth vocals, she's been known to lay down some smooth lines for some pretty big artists. Raye is credited with writing on Charli XCX‘s “After the Afterparty," Snakehips and MØ’s “Don’t’ Leave," SG Lewis' "Yours" and more.
