Travis Scott's weekend is packed to the brim. Not only did he release Astroworld at the stroke of midnight, but he followed that up with an appearance Chase B's Beats 1 show .wav Radio, a day after blessing Lollapalooza with a streamlined concert performance. Travis was in giving mood while he frequented the Beats 1 recording studio, sharing not one but three previously unheard tracks cut from the final Astroworld tracklist. Industrious SoundCloud users ripped the songs at low-bitrate from the broadcast itself. All three recordings are available here at Complex.
Thirty minutes into the two-hour special Travis Scott unveiled "Zoom" featuring Gunna, and Travis to stagger the goodies in intervals of 30 minutes. After about an hour of run-time, Travis unleashed a 2nd track called "Houdini" featuring Playboi Carti, with whom he shares experimental tendencies, none more telling than last summer's "Green & Purple."
The 3rd and final offering came in the final frame, a song titled "Part Time" that closes on a complacent musical interlude. Travis also premiered a song from Cactus Jack signee Ashton Travis, but as of this writing it remains unavailable. The entire podcast can be sought here via iTunes.
How do these B-sides compare to Astroworld in your most humble opinion?
