Logic, a Balitmore, MD rapper who was recently named an XXL Freshmen of 2013 just let go some more good news-- he signed a deal with a major label, Def Jam.
The rapper, who has been on the rise for some time, announced the news today. He released a statement sharing his excitement, as well as revealing a tid-bit of information about his upcoming debut album: he'll be working with producer No I.D.
"I'm excited to take this next step in my career," Logic said. "It's incredible for Def Jam [Records] and Visionary Music Group to work together and the opportunity to collaborate with a living legend like No I.D. is priceless. I'm very humbled to be apart of the most iconic hip hop label of all time."
No I.D., who will serve as executive producer on Logic's Def Jam debut, also spoke on the emcee. "Logic has a great future ahead and we are happy to have him at Def Jam. He has the talent to be a great artist and make a strong presence in our industry," the producer said.
Logic is slated to release a new project on May 7th, Young Sinatra: Welcome To Forever.
