Detroit has been a hub for music for generations, and currently Eminem is the face of Detroit’s hip hop scene which bolsters many talented artists. Always looking to promote both his brand, and his city, Em’s “Shady Films” is producing a six part web series “Detroit Rubber,” which focuses on a high-end sneaker boutique in the D.
The show will follow Rick Williams and Roland “Ro” Coit as the co-owners of the locally famous sneaker shop Burn Rubber, which is where the show “Detroit Rubber” gets its name. Shady’s film company is working alongside multimedia entertainment studio Electus to present the shows on the Loud YouTube channel.
Celebrities will be making appearances including Detroit Tiger’s slugger, Prince Fielder, G.O.O.D. Music’s, Big Sean, Royce Da 5’9, Mike Posner, D-12’s Mr. Porter, and of course, Slim Shady himself.
