That's Dr. Chance The Rapper, to you.

Today is not only a big day for the many students at New Orleans' Dillard University who will be graduating today, but it's also a big day for Chance The Rapper, as he will not only be giving the student a commencement speech, but will also be awarded with an honorary doctorate.

Chance announced the news on his Instagram today, showing himself getting up bright and early, putting on his suit for his visit to the University today. In the caption, Chance wrote, "GOOD MORNIN šŸŽ¶ Headed to Dillard University right now to give my first ever commencement speech šŸ˜¬ Even crazier, Iā€™m receiving my honorary doctorates today šŸ˜šŸ˜."

No word as to what Chance will be getting his doctorate in, but by his words he may be receiving more than one. That's not bad for a guy who's rap career started as a result of him being suspended for 10 days in high school, during which time he recorded his break-out mixtape, 10 Day.

Of course, if anyone deserves to be honored for his achievements, it's Chance. Not content to simply rest on his winnings from being an independent Grammy-winning rap artist, Chance is constantly funding and promoting charity events and good causes in order to help those who are in need, and fight against social injustice.

Congratulations to Dr. Chance The Rapper on his upcoming honorary doctorate(s). Now it's Young Thug's turn to be awarded for his achievements in evolving the English language beyond what was thought possible. Check out the video of Chance below.
