Having witnessed the clamoring for a minute now, it's fair to say that Travis Scott's Astroworld has been one of 2018's most anticipated drops. Now, the album has finally arrived, bringing forth seventeen tracks and a stacked supporting cast. Such key players include the likes of Drake, Sheck Wes, Juice Wrld, Migos, James Blake, Stevie Wonder, The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, Pharrell, Nav, Gunna, Swae Lee, and many more. The production credits themselves play out like a cryptic novel; who'd have guessed that CyHi The Prynce was a co-author of introductory cut "Stargazing?"
Yet sometimes, with an album this anticipated, expectations can build to an unrealistic level. As of now, however, it seems likely that Scott can rest easy. Not that he wouldn't; he just released a complete body of work, and will no doubt stand behind his album with pride, regardless of critical acclaim. For what it's worth, however, the amorphous voice alternatively known as Twitter seems to stand firmly behind the project. Peep some of the reactions below:
